Clint's Baby

Tony's eyes widened and he jumped as the little girl started crying and wailing. Clint stood up and walked over to Tony. "You're holding her wrong," he muttered. Clint took the child in his arms. Immediately the little child stopped crying.

    "I'm the most experienced with children," Clint shrugged. Natasha smirked, "Laura is gonna kill you." Clint rolled his eyes. Then after a short moment, a big grin crept across his pale cheeks, "Laura is just a great big softie. She won't turn down a lost child." He smiled down at the child and walked toward the door. "It's time for us to go."

    Laura peered down at the child. "Clint, I can't believe you brought down a baby," she shot him a little glare. "She was all alone and couldn't let those jokers take her," Clint huffed, "And I know you think she's cute. I can tell."

    Laura blushed and smiled, "She is pretty cute. I don't know if Cooper will like her. But I know Lila will." Clint smiled and kissed his dearest wife on her head. "So we're keeping her I take it," he murmured. Laura nodded, "I think we are."

    Clint and Laura called a family meeting. Lila, who was holding Nathaniel, sat beside her brother Cooper. "Kids," Clint held the baby girl to his chest, "We've adopted another child." Lila beamed at her parents while Cooper gave them a fierce scowl. "I hate being the oldest," the boy muttered. "It's a girl," Laura smiled ignoring her son's irritation.

    Lila nearly jumped out of her skin and handed Nathaniel to Cooper. "Can I hold her?" Lila squealed out her question. Clint smiled and handed the baby girl to her chest. Lila beamed up her, "Does she have a name?"

    Clint shook his head. Laura thought for a moment and smiled, "Would you like to give her a name?" Lila looked up at her mother in wonder. "What about," she thought for a moment, "How about (Name)?" Lila offered the name.

    Laura nodded and beamed widely. "I love it," she beamed. Clint smiled a small bit and nodded. Suddenly (Name) began to cry. Lila squeaked with surprise. "Oh (Name). Please don't cry!" Lila begged.

    Laura smiled a little bit. "Here sweetie," she held out her arms, "Let Mommy see her." Lila forfeited the child to her mother. To Laura's despair (Name) refused to stop crying. He wailing was causing Nathaniel to cry. Laura huffed and frowned.
