Thor

Rain poured down on Stark Towers. We, the Avengers, where gathered in the big building, waiting for further orders. “Miss. (Name) is calling you sir,” Metal Mans’ machine everyone called J.A.R.V.I.S. sounded in the room. I jerked my head up.

It had been such a long time I’d seen (Name) and I missed her so. True I had been in Asgard for some time, but when I returned I had wished to see her. Alas I did not get to full fill that a wish. “Answer it,” Tony said. “T-Tony,” a panicked voice whimpered over the phone. We all blinked at one another, hardly any of us have ever heard (Name) sound that way. Tony lurched forward in his chair. “(Name)? You okay kid?” I believe Tony meant to pick up cellular telephone, but he did not. “Listen,” her sweet voice was hushed, “I don’t have much time to talk but-,” there was a sudden sound of crashing and suddenly we could hear another Misgardians’ voice. ““Who the hell are you talking to?” the voice demanded. “It’s just my friend Pepper,” (Name) squeaked, lying. “Do I look stupid to you?” the other person screamed.

There was a sudden sound of one being smacked and (Name) yelping. We heard the phone clatter into something, then some muffled yelling. A loud bang echoed through the phone then the call ended. We all stared at one another in silence. I found myself gripping the hem of my black shirt, like a nervous child. “Who was that man?” I asked. “That’s (Name)’s boyfriend, Allen,” Natasha snarled, the ginger was now examining her gun. Her eyes blazing.

I tensed up. How could this have happened? Could this have possibly been Loki’s doing? I quickly demised that thought. Loki actually had a liking for (Name), but only to an extent.  I had hoped that (Name) had found a job that fit her taste better. I now understood why she had left S.H.E.I.L.D. and the Avengers.

Suddenly Tony clapped a hand on my shoulder. “It’s okay man. We’ll get her back, then you can kick his ass,” I nodded. Then glanced around. Had I really made my anger obvious? “Yes friend Tony. I shall be doing much ass kicking,” I told him. “Just don’t ‘hulk out’ on us,” Clint said, in a joking manor. Banner actually smiled.

I grabbed my hammer off the table and walked toward the balcony of Stark Towers. “Hold up there Break Point,” Tony blocked my path, ran splattered onto both of us. “Man of Iron, why do you block my path?” I demanded. “We don’t want to do anything rash,” he said, obviously trying to reason with me. Bruce snorted in amusement, “Your one to call out rash actions,” I narrowed my eyes at him. “Tony,” Natasha called sharply. Tony looked past me. “Why can’t he go?” she asked. “Shakespeare over here is gunna go all Macbeth on everybody,” Tony explained. “Who is the Macbeth, you speak of?” I demanded. “A Shakespeare character,” Tony explained.

Natasha got to her feet and walked over to us. “Come on Tony,” she yanked him out of the way, “And don’t you complain to me about saving your little sister. Thor’s got this,” “Thank you, Lady Natasha,” I thanked. She gave me a crooked smile. Then proceeded to pull Tony away by one of his ears. I flew off quickly. I was too worried about (Name), to be bothered by the rain.

When I first met (Name), I almost killed her, but it was an accident. I was fighting with friend Tony and overly patriotic friend Steve. She was just trying to protect her brother. Poor (Name) practically got hit with my hammer. She forgave me though. After we had all gotten to S.H.E.I.L.D. (Name) asked me many questions. It was no doubt that she was a curious one. She had asked about Asgard and about me and other Asgardians.

I had already thought she was a lovely woman. Beautiful, smart, and I could tell she was loving, yet as time passed I came to know her much better and she was more wonderful than I could have ever imagined. Somehow I had come to love her and I saw her as much more than a companion.

“Hey Thor,” Bruce’s voice chirped in my ear. I had forgotten I was wearing the strange ear piece. “Yes, green angry one?” I replied. “I know where (Name) lives. If you want to help her out, you’ll want to know her address,” he said. “That would be the most helpful,” I nodded. “She’s lives on (address),” Bruce said. “Thank you for your help, my friend,” I said, thunder sounded in my ears.

I walked toward (Name)’s home. I had touched down a few feet away. Thunder roared with each of my steps. Blood pumped in my ears. My face wet with the rain. I was getting closer the house now to see that it was a shabby home. It wasn’t fit for my beloved (Name) to live in.

I was about to break the door down, when a horrible sounding cough came from nearby. I jerked around and saw someone staggering in the rain. Not only was it a young girl, but it was (Name). I ran toward her. My heart pounding. Why was she out in this storm? “Thor?” she called frightened. She sounded weak. “Lady (Name), why are you out in this storm?” as soon as I reached her side, (Name) practically collapsed on my chest. “He tossed me out,” she squeaked. “Is that not a good thing?” I held her upright in my arms. She shook her head and coughed some more. That’s when I realized it wasn’t mud she was coated in, but her own blood. “Come (Name), we must get you back to Stark Towers where your brother and the angry green one are,” I picked her up, and held her closely to me. “No, I don’t want to worry anyone any further,” she shook her head into my neck. “It’s too late for that, fair (Name). We are all concerned about your wellbeing,” I said. With an incredibly light (Name), in one arm and my hammer in the other, I took flight.

I pressed the ear piece, hoping that’s how it worked. “Metal Man, I have retrieved Lady (Name),” “Thank god you called,” Tony breathed. “Is she okay?” Natasha asked. “I do not believe so. She was out in the storm and she’s bleeding,” I explained as (Name) wrapped her arms around my neck. “If Tony saw me like this…” she mumbled. “Do not worry lady (Name). Your brother will be the most understanding with you,” I promised. “Sorry about your shirt,” she mumbled again. Even in this state her kindness had hardly ceased. My lips almost twitched up into a small smile. “Oh it’s quite all right,” I said, “The shirt is replaceable,”

I reached Stark Towers soon after that. “Oh my God,” Tony cried, taking his younger sister from me. I could not deny the man of his sister, but I wanted to take her back into my arms where I felt she was safest. “What happened? Do you know?” Clint asked, following me, as I was following Tony. I shook my head a little. “Thor,” Natasha approached me carefully, “You might wanna change your shirt. It’s pretty bloody,” I stared at Natasha. How could she be thinking of a pointless misgardian shirt, when my cherished (Name) could loose her life? Yet for some reason, somehow, I nodded and walked to my room.

Even though I had been out in a rain storm, I got in the shower. After my shower I put on a pair of jeans and a white shirt. I walked back to the room which the other Avengers had been while waiting for Bruce to finish whatever he was doing to help (Name).

I’m not sure how much time had passed, or who had spoken to me. It was a big blur. I was not crying. Not on the outside at least. My eye glued on to the floor. All the adrenaline from the previous hours had long worn away, leaving me feeling very tired and empty.

Finally Bruce had returned. We all looked to him. “She’ll be alright,” Bruce said, “It looked scary than it really was,” the room lightened. It was as if all the tension of this moment was released into the air, so it would no longer eat away at our very beings.

Tony was the first to talk. Not like that was anything knew. The man in metal was very fond of talking. “Is she awake? Can I go see her?” he ran over to Bruce. “She’s awake,” Bruce said, “but becare-,” Tony out of the room before he could finish. I didn’t dare move. I wanted to. I wanted to see (Name) right then and there, but I could not will myself to get up from that spot.

I sat in my spot for a while, people had come and gone. I was afraid to see (Name). Everyone kept saying she would be okay and she didn’t look bad. Yet the thoughts of her out in rain, coated with her own hot sticky blood, sickened me. I stayed sitting until someone put their hand on my shoulder. “(Name) wants to see you,” it was Pepper, “She’s very worried about you. She fears that you’re hurt,”

“She does?” I asked standing up. I sounded more surprised than I meant to. Pepper eyes light up. “Oh yes. She’s been asking about you. It’s quite obvious that she wants to see you. You should have seen the look on Tony’s face when she asked him if you were okay.” Pepper gushed. I nodded and walked to the room the Bruce had put (Name) in.

I durned the door knob and walked in. “Thor,” (Name) cried, “Are you alright? Did he hurt you?” I walked over to the bed. I my mind was flooded with emotions, I was struggling to keep a level-head. “You should only need to worry of yourself,” I sitting next to the chair. “But I’ll be just fine,” she protested. I gave her a hard look. I didn’t understand, she was covered with bandages and had scars up and down her arms. She sighed, “I’m sorry Thor. It’s just… well nobody’s ever done something like that for me. Going out in the middle of a storm just to see if I was alright,”

I smiled and took her hand gently in my own. “It is my most important duty to keep those I love safe from all harm, whether they know it or not,” I told her. “You love me?” she asked, her hair bouncing a little as she moved her head. I blushed. “Well… um…yes,” I stammered. I lowered my gaze. I had just reviled my most guarded secret.

When I looked back up (Name) was smiling. It was one of the grandest smiles I had ever seen. “I love you too Thor,” (Name) said. She was the happiest I had ever seen her. “Are you hungry?” I asked, trying to break the awkward silence. “Yeah,” she said, a grin on her face, “Could you bring me some Poptarts?” I grinned widely at her. I kissed her forehead then left the room.

When I returned she had dozed off. I smiled softly, place the Poptarts on the chair next to the bed, and left. I walked toward the exit of Stark towers. “And where are you of too?” Tony asked. I narrowed my eyes, “I am planning on torching some misgardian ass,”

THOOOOOORR!! Hehe! I've finished Thor. Up next is my personal favorite.....LOKI!!! YAY! Anyways, here's Thor, him and all his Poptarts.

Nothing is mine sadly.
