(Neko) Axis x (Neko) Reader

“(Name)!” Feliciano cried as his dear friend had returned. She smiled at him tiredly, “Hi Feli.” Ludwig jumped up on the couch beside them. “What did the humans say?” (Name) laid her head on her couch cushion and shook her head. Ludwig frowned deeply. “But you are ill (Name),” he gave her forehead a rough lick. She groaned softly as one of their masters approached. “It’s time for you medicine!” The brunette said in cheery tone. He held a pipette in his fingers full a thick white substance.

The person sat beside the three cats. (Name) meowed in protest, as her master pulled her up on to his lap. She struggled as her mouth was pried open. She cringed at the foul taste of her medicine on her tongue. She cried out in protest. “This is for your own good, (Name),” the human said soothingly. Once (Name) was finally set down, she lapped up lots of water. Ludwig flicked his tail with amusement. She gave him a soft glare. “Don’t tease me,” she pouted over her water.

Feliciano jumped on her and cried, “Please don’t be sad!” (Name) groaned, “Feli, you’re crushing me.” Kiku pawed at the brown furred tom cat. “She needs her rest,” he said gently. She smiled and licked Feliciano’s forehead, before nudging him off.

The trio of tom cats followed their sick friend to the couch. She lept up on to their masters couch. Her sickness caused her to be exhausted from the simple walk. Ludwig, Kiku, and Feliciano piled up around her. “Rest now, (Name),” Kiku murmured. (Name) was quickly lolled to sleep by Feliciano’s soft purring.

(Name) woke up to only Feliciano still beside her. Her stomach churned as she stood up. As carefully as she could she hopped down from the couch. (Name) could feel her meal from earlier starting to come up. She rushed to the tiled floor, not wanting to feel her masters wrath if she wretched on the carpet.

With as much luck as a sick cat could have, (Name) made it to the tiled kitchen floor. She lost her lunch soon after. (Name) quickly drank some water and slunk under the couch. She burned with embarrassment as she nested into the fluffy carpet. The darkness of the couch allowed her to fall back into a drifting sleep.

(Name) woke with a start as she heard her master cursing. They must’ve found her mess. She stayed hidden away under the couch in fear that her master would be angry with her. (Name) pressed her furry body into the wall behind her. “(Name),” Ludwig meowed as he walked in front of the couch. “Oh, Hi Ludwig,” Feliciano mumbled. “Where’s (Name)?” The gray tom cat asked, “Kiku and I told you to keep an eye on her.” (Name) could feel Feliciano jump up from his spot and rush around the couch frantically. “I’m sorry! I fell asleep!” He wailed.

“Well, we’ve got to find her,” Ludwig said, “I’ll tell Kiku, but you start looking.” (Name) watched as Ludwig’s paws trotted away. She used that moment to slink out from under the couch and rush under the dining table. Now she felt thankful that her master had a thick tablecloth draping over it.

(Name) felt ashamed that her master was angry at her. And to make matters worse, the others were going out of there way to protect her. “You’ve never been very good at hide and seek,” Kiku mumbled as he pushed his way under the table cloth. (Name) pouted a small bit, “You just have a good nose.” Kiku smiled and gave her small lick on the forehead. The black and white tom meowed loudly, to the others. They quickly appeared under the table. Feliciano ran over to her side. “I’m so sorry (Name), this is all my fault!” He cried. (Name) head butted his little leg. Ludwig smiled at them for a moment before joining them.
